About this houseboat
Solo or as a couple? Book a private en-suite room on a larger shared houseboat instead of chartering the whole boat. You get the same Vembanad cruise, the same Kerala meals, the same crew — at a fraction of the cost. Each room is air-conditioned with an attached bathroom. The open deck, dining area, and lounge are shared with other guests.
Your cruise route
The cruise starts at 12 noon at Punnamada Lake — famous the world over as the venue for the Nehru Trophy Boat Race. Entering the enchanting waters of Vembanad Lake, you feel the rhythm of rural Kerala life along the banks. Sightseeing includes the Kuttanad backwaters, vast paddy fields, and the iconic R Block and C Block canal stretches.

- Cancellation 30+ days before check-in: 90% retention (10% refund).
- Cancellation 15–29 days before check-in: 50% refund.
- Cancellation within 7 days of check-in: No refund.
- Refunds are processed within 45 days on a first-in-first-out basis.
Payment
- Full payment must be made before check-in.
- Advance payment confirms the booking — balance due at check-in.
- Card payments are not available; please pay by cash or bank transfer.
- Discounts and price negotiations after confirmation are not accepted.
Guest Policy
- Any passenger unable to check in does not entitle the group to a rate reduction.
- Additional guests added after confirmation will be charged at the prevailing add-on rate.
- Guests must be in their rooms by 10:30 PM; the lobby area is closed after that.
